The course is designed for people who want to acquire a good working knowledge of Spanish in a short time. The grammar is presented concisely and clearly, maintaining the principle of teaching only what is essential and providing a complete course in written and conversational Spanish. When the course is completed, you should have a particularly good understanding of the language, more than enough for general holiday or business purposes. We hope you enjoy with this course.

Spanish Conversation is a conversation course designed for students who want to improve their communicative abilities in Spanish. With this goal in mind, the course will also provide exposure to the other language skills (reading and listening comprehension, writing, vocabulary acquisition, socio-cultural competence) which are integral to developing speaking fluency. Certain grammar points will be reviewed based on the texts and on issues that arise in class.

This course combines a content-based language instruction with an interactive task-based approach. Individual and group presentations provide students with practice in making formal presentations in Spanish, a skill that is necessary for many professional settings such as international affairs, business, and teaching. Classroom and small group discussions will provide practice in a more informal style of speech that is encountered in travel and social situations. These activities are designed to improve the students’ conversational skills and practical knowledge about culture and language both in formal and informal settings.

The Spanish over 50’s course offered by this school consists of 1 Spanish lesson each week( 6 weeks course) in groups of no more than 10. Lessons are designed with mature students in mind. Tuition is suitable for all students, from complete beginners to advanced-level learners. Classes follow the same format as the standard programme, with the exception that students must be over the age of 50 to be eligible. Course materials for this programme are purchased prior to begin.

The package offered by consists of 15 Spanish lessons each week (3 classes per weekday) in groups of no more than 10. Lessons take place between 10:00 and 13:00 and are followed by a selection of social/cultural activities. Tuition is suitable for all students, from complete beginners to advanced-level learners. Classes follow the same format as the standard Intensive programme. Course materials for this programme are purchased prior to arrival.
